This Sunday, Jake Belue from Redemption Hill Church will be preaching a message titled, “Dealing With Disappointment In Light of God’s Faithfulness”. This week’s passage will be 2 Chronicles 14-16 . Last week’s sermon can be heard here. If you’re planning to watch online check us out this week on Facebook Live Sunday morning at 10:30am

We want to encourage you to take a moment this week as you prepare for our time together on Sunday by reading and praying through the passages.

Consider thinking through these four questions as you read and pray.

  1. How can I adore God from this passage?

  2. What sin does this passage lead me to confess?

  3. How does this passage help me to thank Jesus?

  4. From this passage, in what ways can I ask God's Spirit to help me this week?

Community Groups Are Back!

…and they will be meeting through the Summer from May through July. Communities are our primary gatherings outside of Sunday morning where we can connect with each other and grow together through fellowship, God’s word, and discipleship. Click below on one of the communities to reach out to a Community Leader for more information.

Evidences of God’s Grace

The elders would love to hear about and celebrate the ways that God’s grace is working in your life or how you’ve witnessed God’s grace in the life of other members of WEBC. Let us know here.

Weekly Resources

Here are some resources that our elders recommend checking out this week. Please feel free to use them as discipleship opportunities to discuss with one another.

The Fear of Death and God's Grip Christians are subject to viruses and failing economies as well. It’s true that we live in the world. But we are not of the world. We are called by God whom we serve to embrace ultimate truths, not fear them, for Christ has done something remarkable for us. There are many such truths for believers, both related to this world and the next.

Your Weird Church is Plan A and There is No Plan B As weird and messy as your church is, there is only a miracle to be gained by offering up your very selves to the Lord who made you and loves you. It’s no guarantee your church will grow numerically, of course. But it is a guarantee that the Spirit’s strength is perfected in weakness.

To All Who Need Rest  Jesus feels the same compassion toward those of us who are heavy laden today as he did to the weary back then. And he extends his invitation as urgently and tenderly to us as he did to those harassed and helpless people. His great desire is that we find the rest we so desperately need, which is a rest that only he can give.
