We want to encourage you to take a moment this week as you prepare for our time together on Sunday by reading and praying through the passages.
Consider thinking through these four questions as you read and pray.
How can I adore God from this passage?
What sin does this passage lead me to confess?
How does this passage help me to thank Jesus?
From this passage, in what ways can I ask God's Spirit to help me this week?
The elders are continuing to monitor the updates by the CDC and our Governor concerning precautions for our gatherings. At this time, our services will continue to be mask-optional. We will continue to provide updates if things change going forward.
We do ask that if you or anyone in your household has recently been ill or is currently experiencing symptoms of illness, please stay at home. By doing this, you will be loving others well and protecting the most vulnerable among us.
Please be mindful of the comfort levels of others during our gatherings.
Hand sanitizers and disinfectant wipes will be stationed throughout the building

How (Not) To Satisfy Your Longing For Approval From the fall onward, God’s people have recognized that our longed-for approval can only be obtained by covering ourselves with something. True to form, though, we haven’t always chosen the right covering. The Bible shows us three common (but flawed) coverings, while ultimately pointing us to the only covering that can give us the approval we crave.
The “Bad Math” of Derailing Spiritually According to Scripture, the only way we can live a full and fruitful life in the here and now—the only way that things like career, family, friendship, and other pursuits can lead to healthy and life-giving outcomes—is to remain fixated on Jesus, his kingdom, and his purposes through each one of these pursuits. Jesus must be the sun around which the solar systems of our lives find their orbit.
How Do We Stay Joyful When Life Feels Heavy? Joy in the Lord does not negate our very real emotions. In fact, Scripture gives us a structure in which we can acknowledge heartache while still experiencing true joy. But if we are to be a people who read and live the words of the Bible, then joy in the Lord is commanded. Always.
